Research Seminar by Prof. VG Venkatesh

The 5th research seminar of 2023-24 academic session was held at IIMK on 31st August 2023. The topic of the seminar was “A Primer for an Impactful Research Journey A Research Interaction”. 

The abstract of the talk is as follows

Research in the academic domain is changing into a new realm, warranting the emphasis on the impact element over the numbers in the quality assessment. Amidst this, it is very interesting to deliberate strategies for crafting impactful research. The proposed seminar would explain contemporary practices from the editorial, reviewer, and researcher perspectives. The talk will also exchange research practices which would help the participants to focus on quality and run their research projects with fewer challenges. Also, the seminar intends to address key strategies to ideate, execute, and disseminate the research outputs and deliberate the ways to integrate practice into research.
