Seminar Topic – Systems Thinking: Research Opportunities

Abstract – Systems thinking as a discipline acknowledges that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The systems thinking literature spans hard, soft, critical and multi-methodological approaches. In practice, this body of knowledge provides frameworks for analysing complex, counterintuitive problem situations. The overall purpose of this webinar is to highlight some of the research opportunities that exist in the field of systems thinking. It is grounded on a few cases studies from New Zealand.
