After trying a host of writing tools such as word (Microsoft as well as open source versions), LaTeX and Lyx, He had settled on Scrivener as his default writing tool. He had shaped his entire thesis (three complete essays) as well as other 5-6 papers using Scrivener. It works on the principle of original paper-index cards to complete and organize your writing process. In the workshop, He explained how Scrivener is helpful in preparing journal articles/thesis and demonstrate its use. It is simple to use and may not require hands-on training.
